Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
This notice describes Talenzo's current testing release. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@talenzo.app. The final legal operator and contact details will be confirmed before public launch.
1. INFORMATION PROCESSED
Depending on the features used, Talenzo processes:
- Account and profile details: name, email addresses, verification and recovery records, selected roles, profile photo, biography and skills. Onboarding records an age band and terms acceptance.
- Family and learning records: household and manager relationships, dependent names and profile details, invitations, enrollments, class schedules, attendance, assessments and skill progress.
- Program and academy details: names, descriptions, schedules, pricing, contact information and any venue/address text supplied by users.
- Communications and payment records: updates, responses, invitations, payment amounts, recorded methods, confirmations and supporting information users provide. Talenzo does not currently collect card details or process payment transfers.
- Operational information: timestamps, security and delivery logs, IP addresses used for abuse controls, crash diagnostics, device notification tokens and registered-device credential metadata.
2. PURPOSES AND SHARING
We use this information to run the features above, establish access, protect accounts, send requested notices, diagnose failures and answer support requests. Authorized family managers, coaches and academy owners see information needed for their relationships with learners and programs. A coach's access to a learner does not mean access to the learner's entire unrelated family or other academies.
Service providers process information for authentication, hosting, storage, crash reporting and messaging. These include Google Cloud/Firebase, Google and Apple sign-in, Amazon SES for email, and Apple/Firebase push delivery. Email processing includes delivery, bounce and suppression records. Data can be processed outside the user's country, including in the United States.
Talenzo does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to protect the service and its users.
3. PERMISSIONS AND BIOMETRICS
Photo and camera access are optional where the user chooses an upload feature. Contact details entered for an invitation are processed to send it. Push alerts require the device's notification permission.
Face ID or fingerprint checks are performed by the operating system. Talenzo does not receive or store facial images or fingerprint templates. The app and server use device credentials and public-key registration information to support optional biometric sign-in, including revocation after recovery. Location access is optional and requested only when you choose Use my location. A foreground location fix helps suggest your business country or position a meeting-place pin; approximate access is supported. Talenzo does not record your movement or track location in the background. Only business settings and venue details you save are retained and shared with people who can view that program or class. Maps and address search use Google Maps and the device platform's geocoding services; those providers process map/search requests under their own privacy notices. Directions open in Apple Maps or Google Maps. Departure reminders are not a current feature.
4. CHILDREN AND FAMILY INFORMATION
The app does not offer self-registration to anyone under 18. Parents or authorized guardians can maintain learner profiles for anyone younger, and share relevant learning records with their academies and coaches. A family's first parent chooses which children each co-parent helps with. Managers should provide only information needed for those activities and must have authority to manage the child. Contact support@talenzo.app to ask about reviewing, correcting or deleting a child's data, or to report an unauthorized profile. This notice does not claim that an age gate alone establishes compliance with children's privacy laws.
5. SECURITY, RETENTION AND DELETION
Access controls, encrypted transport, verification and session/device revocation help protect data. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not put passwords, codes or unnecessary sensitive information into messages or support reports.
Data is retained to operate the account and its relationships, maintain payment and learning history, support security and delivery controls, and meet applicable obligations. Different records have different lifetimes. Account deletion is available in Settings; ownership and unresolved relationships may require action first. When a family's first parent deletes their account, the family's learner profiles are deleted too. The first parent can instead offer the family to a co-parent; if they accept, they keep the children they already help with. Shared academy, learning, payment or communication records may need to be retained or de-identified. Backups and security/delivery records may remain for their retention periods. Deleting the app does not delete the account.
6. YOUR CHOICES AND REQUESTS
You can update supported profile information, manage notification preferences and registered devices, and request account deletion in the app. Device settings control notification and optional photo and camera permissions. Essential security or transactional messages may still be sent.
Contact support@talenzo.app for access, correction, export, deletion or other privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the requested records. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. We will explain any limits that apply rather than promise deletion of another participant's records.
7. CHANGES
Material changes will be communicated through the app or email before they apply. The public-launch notice will identify the finalized legal operator and any additional required disclosures.
